Taquito Turmoil

Friday night, after the Fight for Sobriety party, I came home and, since I hadn't really eaten since 5, I thought I'd make a snack. My first instinct: taquitos. Now, I got a different kind of taquito last time than my usual kind, because they were on sale and I had a coupon. So I turned on the oven, got out the taquitos, cooked them to crispiness. During the cooking, I apparently decided I didn't want taquitos, I wanted eggs. I turned off the oven, made my eggs and went to bed with a full belly.
The next morning, I was making a baked potato and wondered, "What the hell are cooked taquitos doing in my oven? I had eggs last night."

Saturday night, after the Upstairsville Christmas Party I came home and, again, decided I needed a snack. "Taquitos!" I thought. So I started heating the oven, got out two taquitos, put them on a pan, and remembered I had leftover chicken from dinner that night with Sid. I had chicken, set the taquito timer and fell asleep on the couch with the timer next to my head. I woke up when Mom called, wandered to the kitchen and found the oven still on and quite pre-heated and the now-thawed taquitos sitting on top of the stove. Good thing I'd forgotten to put them in the oven.
