So, the tour was somewhat anti-climactic. I saw the stuff, which was cool, and I saw the neat programs, which was also cool. But the person who called me and the guy I met at Sonka's were both not there. The CS and GA guys I met were nice, they showed me things, seemed really interested, but the guy in charge that day had a very different idea of what a CS from Rose should be doing, should be interested in, and what I'd bring to the table. Plus, they weren't actually looking for someone to fill a job, since they don't have any open right now, more scouting out what "resources are available in town."

They did give me some good direction on 3D packages to play with, and tools and skills that the industry's looking for in graphics people, so I'm going to start getting some of those demos and playing.
