So, my DDD family has grown again: I have a new little sis! Our Faculty advisor is becoming an honorary initiate, and yours truly is her sposor.
It's strange to go through all of the ceremonies again with a little sis that's already married and could have baby-sat for you, but it's also interesting to hear all of the words directed at collegians and then re-interpret them as an older member. It all makes me realise that the decisions I made four years ago are still the same ones I'd make today, and that each time we do pledging or initiation, I pick up on a part I'd never really thought about before.
